Deutz originates back over 155 years ago to Germany 1864, when founder Nicolaus Otto invented the four stroke internal combustion engines. Deutz later produced a range of agricultural and industrial vehicles and products including tractors, trucks and harvesters. During the second world war, the Deutz factory was nearly obliterated, however it luckily survived the bombings. During the period of the early 60’s to the late 80’s, diesel engines made by Deutz became largely popular due to its strong performance capabilities and evolving engine designs. Today, Deutz has now established a worldwide recognition of its diesel engine ranges that power between 4KW to 500KW and have life expectancy of between 20,000 to 30,000 hours of running time. Deutz is known for its reliability which is illustrated by the efficient cooling systems the engines display through their multi liquid, air and oil cooled cylinders.
